Description:
The Daphine was developed in 1975 in a small workshop in Sedriano near Milan, marking the founding moment of Lumina as a company. Tommaso Cimini reduced the construction radically to its essentials: a compact cylindrical base with integrated transformer, a two-segment articulated arm, and a slender pivotable head with halogen bulb. The result is a lamp that delivers high light output with minimal material presence.
This Daphine is the classic halogen version in white. A two-stage switch on the base allows the light intensity to be adjusted; the arm can be positioned for height and reach, and the head rotates and tilts freely. This makes the lamp ideal as a precise task light on a desk, a reading light beside a sofa or armchair, or a refined accent lamp in purist interiors where the engineering is meant to be seen.
Condition:
Good to very good used condition with light, age- and use-related marks on the white lacquer surface — minor scratches and minimal abrasion, no significant damage. The articulated arm holds its position, the switch functions perfectly, and the lamp is fully operational.
