Description:
The B52 Crow Foot is the rarer sibling of the standard EWÅ Värnamo B52 tripod. Where the tripod base radiates three legs outward in the sculptural manner familiar to collectors, the Crow Foot base uses a single organically curved cast metal form — broader at the base, tapering upward — that gives the lamp a different character entirely: more compact, more quietly confident, and capable of being wall-mounted via the rear slot as well as standing freely on a desk or shelf.
This example is a genuine unrestored find — in the original condition in which it left its last working life. The cast metal base shows the honest marks of age: peeling lacquer, patina and light rust spots that document a lamp that was actually used rather than stored. The crackle lacquer on the conical shade is original and complete, its surface texture intact, with the staining and minor marks that confirm it is the original finish rather than a replacement. The brass gooseneck is present and the shade joint adjusts. The model number B52 is clearly embossed in the base, and the original blue Swedish S quality mark — the SEMKO certification that confirms the lamp was manufactured to the highest Swedish electrical standards — is present and legible.
The wiring is old and partially exposed at the base. The lamp is not tested and not operational in its current state. It is sold explicitly as a restoration or decoration object. After complete rewiring by a qualified electrician, this lamp will function fully and will be among the more unusual B52 configurations in any collection.
