Description: This refined Mid-Century pendant light "Mandalay" was designed in the 1950s by Danish designer Bent Karlby for the Swedish department store Nordiska Kompaniet. Characteristic of Karlby's work is the clear, balanced silhouette, realised here with a finely proportioned opal glass shade and restrained detailing.
