Florentine Hollywood Regency Chandelier, Hans Kögl Lily, Gilt Tole, 6-Light, 1970s, Statement
Highlights: Manufacturer: Hans Kögl, Germany/Italy Model: Lily Chandelier, 6-light Period: 1970s Origin: Germany/Italy Style: Florentine, Hollywood Regency Particulars: 6 gilded tole arms each terminating in a flower-form candle cup with drip wax sleeves; central bouquet of sculpted lily blooms and acanthus scrolls; characteristic wheat-ear finial with braided metal band at base; gilded tole throughout; the 6-light format is the more intimate and versatile of the two Lily configurations — ideal for rooms where the 12-light would overwhelm Ideal for: Dining rooms, bedrooms, dressing rooms, Hollywood Regency and maximalist interiors, collectors of decorative vintage lighting
Description: The Hans Kögl Lily chandelier in its 6-light format occupies a different register from its 12-light sibling. Where the 12-light commands an entrance hall or grand dining room with absolute authority, the 6-light brings the same design language to a more intimate scale — one that works in a bedroom, a dressing room, a smaller dining room, or any space where theatrical presence is desired without visual overwhelm. It is a more versatile piece, and for many interiors the more useful one.
The design is identical in its vocabulary: six gilded tole arms radiating from a central column, each terminating in a flower-form candle cup with drip wax sleeves that complete the illusion of candlelight. The central column carries the same sculpted bouquet of lily blooms and acanthus scrolls, and the characteristic wheat-ear finial with braided metal band completes the base with the same refinement found in the larger version.
Hans Kögl produced decorative interior lamps in the Florentine and Hollywood Regency style from the 1970s, working across Germany and Italy. The brand's gilded tole language — botanical motifs, sculptural forms, the warm presence of gold-tone metal — sits comfortably in the long tradition of Italian decorative craftsmanship while addressing the international appetite for Hollywood Regency interiors. Today, Hans Kögl pieces achieve premium prices on platforms including Pamono and 1stDibs.
Condition: The chandelier is in very good vintage condition. The gilded tole is intact across all 6 arms and the central column. The flower-form candle cups and drip wax sleeves are present and complete. The wheat-ear finial is intact. The electrical components should be inspected by a qualified electrician before use.

Product Safety
This lamp is an original vintage piece. Prior to sale, a visual and functional inspection was carried out (cable, plug, socket, strain relief) as well as a test run. It has not been comprehensively tested in accordance with current VDE standards. Due to its age, the electrical components may pose risks (e.g. aged insulation, missing earth conductor). Before connecting to the 230V mains, it is therefore strongly recommended to have the lamp inspected and, if necessary, updated by a qualified electrician. Use is at the owner's own risk.
