Rare Philips XXL wall lamp from the NX Series, often referred to as the "Fishing Rod", c. 1970s. The arm corresponds to that of model NX230 in size and form. The shade corresponds to that of model NWD20.

Description: This large Philips wall lamp from the NX Series impresses with its far-projecting arm and characteristic, technically refined shade. The construction is reminiscent of a fishing rod, which gives rise to the nickname "Fishing Rod" commonly used among collectors. The lamp can be varied in its projection and orientation, offering very flexible light direction – from concentrated reading light to a broader wall wash. With its industrial charm, it is perfectly suited to lofts, studios, home offices or as a striking statement above a dining table, sideboard or sofa. Condition: The lamp is in good vintage condition with typical signs of use, light scratches and patina on metal surfaces. The electrics are still fully original and therefore do not conform to current safety regulations. Only the mains plug is of somewhat more recent date.
